VMware® is the world's leader in virtualization solutions. VMware® solutions have been deployed to over 130,000 customers, including a 100% market saturation of the top Fortune 100 companies and 96% of the Fortune 1000.
Businesses realize significant benefits from environment virtualization brought on by the VMware® platform. These benefits include lower total cost of ownership, higher return on investment and improved service levels for customers.
localLINUX® provides businesses with the knowledge and expertise to keep up in the virtualization market. By providing solutions that fit your needs, we can keep your business ahead of the competition. Our engineers are certified on both the Virtual Infrastructure 3 and vSphere 4 platforms, allowing localLINUX® to meet any need you might have, whether it be server consolidation, disaster recovery, high availability, or desktop virtualization.
Some of our virtualization accomplishments include:
- Environment virtualization in the financial industry including Microsoft Exchange and SQL Server virtualization.
- Server Consolidation in the trucking, financial, Non Profit, legal and technology verticals.
- Environment, desktop, and application virtualization in the utilities industry.
The availability to service your customers can mean the difference between landing new contracts and closing your doors. Downtime is a problem that every business faces, whether caused by natural disaster or hardware failure, and is an expense that is hard to mitigate with expensive traditional high availability and disaster recovery solutions. VMware® virtualization solutions through localLINUX® allows your business a highly available environment without implementing an entirely new data center. At localLINUX®, we leverage these technologies to minimize downtime and reduce overhead.
VMware® VMotionTM: VMotionTM allows for an administrator to move virtualized machines "on the fly", from one host to another without any down time.
VMware® Storage VMotionTM: Storage VMotionTM allows virtual machine storage to be moved while the machines are still running, allowing a greater window for storage maintenance and migration.
High Availability: High Availability allows an administrator to set failover hosts for virtual machines. If a host in the cluster were to fail, the other hosts would take over the responsibility of the failed host.
Dynamic Resource Scheduling: DRS allows for the scheduling of resources across a virtualized cluster. DRS can move virtual machines automatically to areas of the cluster that have more resources available.
VMware® Fault Tolerance: VMware® Fault Tolerance provides continuous availability for servers in the event of a server failure. A live shadow instance of the fault tolerant virtual machine is created and synchronized in virtual lockstep with the primary machine. Failover is instant eliminating the chance of any data loss or disruption. Any operating system can be protected allowing a mixed operating system environment to take advantage of the instantaneous replication and failover.
